Key Features
A Player-Driven RPG True to Obsidian's legacy, The Outer Worlds offers a story that reacts to your choices. From character build and companion interactions to the way the narrative unfolds, every decision impacts your journey and the ultimate outcome.
Flaws Make You Human Introducing the innovative Flaw System, where your weaknesses can work in your favor. Struggling with certain enemies, like Raptidons? Take on the optional Raptiphobia flaw, which adds a debuff when facing these creatures but grants you an extra character perk. This feature helps shape a more dynamic character as you explore the Halcyon colony.
Lead Your Companions As you journey through Halcyon, you'll meet a diverse cast of potential companions, each with their own skills, motivations, and personal missions. Whether you aid them in achieving their goals or bend them to serve your own agenda, how you manage your crew is up to you.
Explore a Corporate-Run Colony Venture across a galaxy on the fringes of civilization, where Halcyon is governed by a corporate board. While they control almost everything, the alien creatures left behind from failed terraforming efforts are a force unto themselves. Command your ship, recruit your crew, and explore settlements, space stations, and mysterious locations scattered throughout this corporate dystopia.
